Digital Maker Studio

The NCHU Library Digital Maker Studio provides an environment that fosters innovation, proactive learning, self-exploration, and creative thinking in all subject areas. It provides access to several modern digital technologies, including 3D scanners, LCD & FDM 3D printers, heat press machines, laser cutters, and specialty software to help students turn creative ideas into reality, hone their problem-solving skills, and practice what they learn in class through hands-on experience.

The NCHU Library provides interlibrary loan and document delivery services . NCHU Electronic Theses & Dissertations Services

Since May 2006, our university has been promoting the digitization of theses. The system has collected over 34,000 theses from June 2006 to the present, while offering services for thesis submission, browsing, and searching.

Designated research books for Research Projects

Faculty members may borrow designated research books procured under a publicly funded research project until the conclusion of the project, and they may extend the loan period beyond the project expiry date if necessary. Designated research books shall be returned to the Library’s collection and made available to the general public upon conclusion of the project or expiry of the loan.

Journal of NCHU Physical Education Research

The Journal of NCHU Physical Education Research is a peer-reviewed annual publication that provides a platform and communication channel for academic discourse in physical education and sports science. We are calling for papers in the field of physical education and sports science, and submissions are reviewed as they are received. You can download free electronic copies of the journal, a format guide, submission guidelines, the copyright release letter, and the peer-review response form here.

Textbook Service

Textbook Service allows the NCHU faculty to submit textbook requests to the Library. It aims to work with instructors to make assigned textbooks available to students. Patrons can refer to the textbook lists through the Library’s website as well. To ensure that course resources are as accessible as possible, the designated textbooks can only be checked out for a short loan period. Print books can be borrowed for 14 days and multimedia items offer a 5-day loan. Renewals are not permitted.
