Part-time
Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi)
Wireless Internet may be accessed via an authentication webpage. NCHU faculty members and students can select the “NCHU” network and enter their email address and password to get connected.
Campus Network
Devices must be assigned a fixed IP address to access the campus network.
Please contact the network administrator at your department office to request an IP address, and please abide by the Campus Network Usage Guidelines.
Faculty Appointments (for project-based teachers)

Appointments and submission of review:
1. The appointment, review, and promotion regulations for quota-based, full-time faculty members and researchers also apply to project teachers.
2. Project teachers who do not require a qualifications review and project researchers who do not require a promotion must undergo a review conducted by a Project-Based Faculty Member and Researcher Appointment Review Committee set up by the appointing unit before referral to the University President for appointment. The committee will have at least five members, with the unit director serving as convener and the remaining seats filled by associate professors (or professors of a higher rank) specializing in a related field of studies.

- Internal applications:

- Please apply for appointment as a research assistant or post-doctoral fellow via the Project Personnel EZ-Come System (https://psf.nchu.edu.tw/EZcome/). Sign up with the internal project number and your ARC number to obtain your login credentials, then log into the system to file the application.
- Please log into the system, verify the appointment requirements, fill in your basic information, upload the required documents (such as ARC, work permit, etc.), and submit the application. You may keep track of the progress of your application within the same system.
- Following a review by the principal investigator, appointments must be submitted by 3 p.m. on the day the project personnel report for duty so that the University may process labor insurance and national health insurance applications on the same day.

- Those who wish to perform academic research work must apply with the Ministry of Labor. Navigate to the EZ Work Permit (https://ezwp.wda.gov.tw/wcfonline/wSite/Control?function=IndexPage) portal to apply online. See “A11. Sports Facilities
The NCHU Sports Facilities Management Regulations provide details (including application procedures and a fee schedule) for renting sports venues at the University (including the gym, sports field,, swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts, and outdoor volleyball courts) as well as usage guidelines and notices for each venue. The regulations also contain information on the available hours of all sports facilities during school semesters and summer/winter vacations.
Physical Education
Each student may take up to one physical education (PE) course of their choice per semester. Daytime undergraduate students may not select PE courses designated for continuing education undergraduate students, and vice versa. Please select PE courses via the academic system within the course selection period stipulated by the Division of Curriculum. Students admitted in or after Academic Year 2022–23 must take two semesters of PE courses before graduation, with up to two additional PE credits counting toward a student’s graduation credits (only if permitted by the student’s department). The University also offers Interaction Adjustment courses for students who are unable to take part in regular PE courses. Transfer students, readmitted students, and students who have been approved to take PE courses at another institution domestically or abroad, may apply to transfer PE credits within the application period stipulated by the University. Please refer to the course selection notice for matters related to clothing requirements for PE classes and other course-specific regulations.
NCHU Library
To support our faculty and students in teaching, research, and learning, the NCHU Library website offers a wide range of services, including resource inquiries, reader service, and the latest news. The Library currently has more than 2 million top-quality books, journals, and electronic/digital resources available for quick access by faculty members and students.
NCHU Press – Regulations and Application Guide
Founded in 2012, the National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) Press publishes works by NCHU faculty and students. By specializing in publishing academic monographs and scholarly journals, the NCHU Press promotes the production of scholarly works and strengthens the reputation of NCHU as a research university.
Multimedia Center
To support faculty members’ and students’ teaching, research, learning, coursework, and recreational needs, the NCHU Library Multimedia Center has a wide collection of audiovisual media, tabletop games, and scientific exploration materials produced in Taiwan and abroad featuring educational and informative contents. The center also offers well-equipped spaces for faculties and students to use. The “Media Maker Space” is a public multimedia platform that supports mobile phones, desktops, and tablet computers. It provides open workspaces and discussion communities to allow readers to exchange ideas on audiovisual creations.
