- Service introduction: International students who encounter difficulty adjusting to life in Taiwan, emotional distress, or interpersonal relationship issues may apply for counseling online, and the University will arrange counseling sessions with a therapist.
- Method of application:
1) All individual psychological counseling service is on an appointment basis. Please login “NCHU single sign on system”->”All Application Entry” → “Psychological Counseling system”to apply for counselling service.
※P.S. If you’re facing trouble making online appointment, you may also phone the center with no. 04-22840241 ext. 39 during office hours or visit the center in person to make an appointment instead.
2) Notification of appointment time: The center will match you with a suitable psychologist according to your expectations for consultation and convenient meeting time. After matching you with a suitable psychologist for you, you will be notified by text message and E-mail. Please wait patiently.
3) Number of sessions: In principle, each student may reserve up to two courses of treatment of six 50-minute weekly sessions each per semester.
4) Fees: Unless otherwise stipulated, the Center’s counseling services are provided to University students free of charge.
5) Confidentiality: The Center and its counselors will keep your information strictly confidential, except in circumstances of imminent danger posed to the lives of the student themselves or to others that necessitate a mandatory report according to the law.
6) Safety: For the safety of all parties involved, dangerous objects are prohibited in the counseling space.
