課程內容
這一次的基礎英語聽說加強班分成 A/B 兩班，每班課程長度三週，內容相同。每週課程兩小時中以技能導向，規劃成聽力及口說，並搭配許多小任務。第一小時聽力部分，會以外籍生錄音檔為素材打開大家的耳朵，要能聽到每一個字，還會介紹三種語調形式及十條語調規則，TPO 語調模仿則是讓大家聽到英語的高高低低，進而說出母語最道地的語調。口說部分訓練大家用三種技能: 避開書面語，長句拆短句，傳意不傳詞，讓大家只用國中單字文法就能夠說英語表達自己意思，並會附上萬用回話句。

To enhance English listening and speaking skills, the Office of International Administrative Support (OIAS) is organizing two sessions of the workshop (both sessions have identical content). Please choose one session based on your availability and do not register for both.

Course Content:
The Basic English Listening and Speaking Enhancement Course is divided into Classes A and B, each lasting three weeks with identical content. Each weekly two-hour session is skills-oriented, focusing on listening and speaking, and includes various small tasks. The first hour, dedicated to listening, uses recordings from native speakers to train participants to catch every word. It introduces three intonation patterns and ten intonation rules. TPO (Tone, Pitch, and Overstress) intonation imitation helps participants recognize the natural highs and lows of English, enabling them to shadow authentic native speaker intonation. The speaking component trains participants in three skills: avoiding written language, breaking long sentences into shorter ones, and conveying meaning rather than literal words. This enables participants to express themselves in English using only junior high-level vocabulary and grammar, supplemented by versatile response phrases.
