We are looking for enthusiastic international students to join us as Student Assistants. This is a great opportunity to interact with university staff, share your culture, and gain valuable work-study experience on campus.
Recruitment Timeline
- Application Deadline: May 29 (Fri), 2026. (Closed)
- ⚠️ Note: Applicants will be contacted for an interview after the application deadline.
- Interview Invitation Notification: Before Jun 15 (via email). (All Notified)
- Interview Dates: Jun 16 and 17. (All Scheduled)
- ⚠️ Note: All short-listed candidates have been scheduled for an in-office interview.
- Final Result & Hiring Notice: Jun 26 (via email). Only qualified candidates will receive emails.
- Shift Availability Form: Sep 14 (via email). Only selected assistants will receive this form to finalize their work schedules for the semester.
- Mandatory Orientation: Oct 1 or Oct 2 (at noon).
📌 Only one session will be held. The exact date will be confirmed upon hiring. Attendance is mandatory!
Role & Responsibilities
Logistics & Setup: Collect classroom keys and materials, open the classroom, and set up the space before each session. After class, restore the environment, return the keys, and submit the sign-in sheets to OIAS.
Conversation Facilitation: Facilitate English conversations and activities with staff members (approx. 10–12 participants per session).
Instructional Support: Assist the lead instructor in managing the session flow and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirement: No specific Chinese or English proficiency level is required—we value your willingness to communicate and engage with others!
