The NCHU Art Center organizes art exhibitions and cultural exchanges, assists in the beautification of the campus, and works to improve faculty and students’ appreciation of art and strengthen their aesthetic education. The Center invites well-known local and international artists to hold exhibitions at the University after recommendation and approval by a consulting and review committee composed of experts and scholars. Each exhibition usually lasts about a month, and an average of eight art exhibitions are planned every year. The Center also organizes activities, international exchanges, lectures, presentations, symposiums, workshops, and other art and cultural events in conjunction with university campaigns. Additionally, the Center has a well-equipped curation room with a collection of over 1500 artworks, and publishes collection catalogues as a medium to promote cultural exchange.

The school cafeteria is operated by a contractor that offers a variety of dining options, including an à la carte buffet, themed restaurants, a fast food place, and a convenience store. The cafeteria is a great place to hang out with other faculty members, students, and people from neighboring communities.
The NCHU Sports Facilities Management Regulations provide details (including application procedures and a fee schedule) for renting sports venues at the University (including the gym, sports field,, swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts, and outdoor volleyball courts) as well as usage guidelines and notices for each venue. The regulations also contain information on the available hours of all sports facilities during school semesters and summer/winter vacations.
To support our faculty and students in teaching, research, and learning, the NCHU Library website offers a wide range of services, including resource inquiries, reader service, and the latest news. The Library currently has more than 2 million top-quality books, journals, and electronic/digital resources available for quick access by faculty members and students.
To support faculty members’ and students’ teaching, research, learning, coursework, and recreational needs, the NCHU Library Multimedia Center has a wide collection of audiovisual media, tabletop games, and scientific exploration materials produced in Taiwan and abroad featuring educational and informative contents. The center also offers well-equipped spaces for faculties and students to use. The “Media Maker Space” is a public multimedia platform that supports mobile phones, desktops, and tablet computers. It provides open workspaces and discussion communities to allow readers to exchange ideas on audiovisual creations.
The NCHU Collection is located in the reading area on the 1st floor of the library and features a cozy and comfortable reading nook, as well as an exhibition area where the works of NCHU faculty are displayed. You are welcome to visit the reading room and savor every moment of your time in it.

Faculty members and postdoctoral researchers may take the “Information Security General Knowledge Online Test” between the 25th and the 30th each month. Passing the test will be recognized as three hours of general information security education credits.

Pursuant to Appendix 5 of the Regulations on Grading Levels of Information Security Responsibility, all general users and supervisors are required to complete at least three hours of general information security education and training each year.
