Designated research books for Research Projects

Faculty members may borrow designated research books procured under a publicly funded research project until the conclusion of the project, and they may extend the loan period beyond the project expiry date if necessary. Designated research books shall be returned to the Library’s collection and made available to the general public upon conclusion of the project or expiry of the loan.

Open access (OA) means free access to information and unrestricted use of academic resources on the Internet.

You can use a variety of tools to check whether a journal is open access or is actually a predatory journal before submitting your paper.

The Library provides information on publishing fee discounts for OA journals. Please read the relevant instructions if you are interested.

Seniority-based Pay Raise

Faculty members who meet the criteria for teaching, research, consulting, or service performance may receive a one-step promotion in their pay grade (or seniority-based pay raise) up until the highest permissible grade/step for their position for each full academic year of service at the University.
